In the summer of 1992, Tony decided to start a deck building business. Owning and operating The Deck Company is his true passion which can be seen in his attention to detail in every step of the project. Over the years, he has taken The Deck Company to new heights with his business skills and knowledge of deck design and construction.
Robert Schmidt, Vice President /Construction Manager
Robert brings construction knowledge and experience to the team and functions as our Construction Manager. As a licensed contractor, he has gained the technical ability to help ensure that all trades are installing their products professionally and up to current code requirements.
April Schmidt, Interior Designer/ASID
She has a talent for pulling together all facets of our exterior remodeling to bring the best results to the overall look of your deck project.
Sharon Shafer, Corporate Secretary
Sharon has 30 years office management expertise that she brings to The Deck Company. She is responsible for all initial contacts with potential and current clients. She coordinates appointments, schedules, and directs a variety of construction activities.
